John 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
I now know that I have been called with a purpose on this earth and for such a time as this. Finding it and understanding what it was took me some time. But, once I found out the truth about my purpose here on earth, I was ready to fulfill my assignments and walk into my God-given purpose.
I asked myself the question, how was I going to impact the world in which I live? Will it be to care for others; to empower others to follow their dreams or will it be to own a well-established business that gives back to the community.
Whatever it was, God had qualified and equipped me. For I read somewhere that “God does not call those who are qualified, but He qualifies those He called”. Amen
Like Moses who was raised by Pharaoh’s sister in Egypt to later discover that he was the deliverer for the children of Israel out of slavery and to the promise land.
Like Esther who was called for such a time as this. She was to save her people from an angry man called Haman who wanted terribly to annihilate them.
Like Joseph who was sold into slavery by his brothers after he tells them his dream. He later became their provision through God when there was a famine in the land.
Like David who was the shepherd boy who was anointed by Samuel to be King.
If you are not sure what your purpose here on earth is, TD Jakes said it best - “If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.”
Know this for sure, You and I, are called with purpose!
