Overcoming Fear
Have you ever wondered why you were scared to step into something that you knew was for you? But some how it seems as though something was holding you back. Well, my dear I am here to tell you that fear is real if you let it be. The acronym for Fear is “False Evidence Appearing Real”. Get that? Fear is not real; it just appears to be. Our fear can become our giant if or when we allow it to occupy our very being. But the Apostle Paul told Timothy, his son in the gospel, that fear is a spirit, and that God did not give us a spirit of fear. What Paul wanted Timothy to know, was that he should not lack courage or confidence! I am here to encourage you that God want the same for you, He gave you power, love and a sound mind. There is nothing bigger than our God; No Giant named fear can ever stop you from moving ahead all you have to do is just TRUST God!
How do you overcome fear? Good question, glad you ask, the answer is with faith! Fear is overcome by having Faith in God. Faith gives us back the keys to take authority over any fear that may appear to be real and ostracize it. Hebrews 11:1(NLT) “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see”; unlike fear, which is the opposite; remember fear is false evidence appearing to be real. Choose faith over fear and you will always win!!!
